Here is a letter from Larry and MarySue Martin to share about their next trip to Kenya.
Mission Trip – Kenya – November 2016
Dear Friends and Family,
We have applied and been accepted as the Rachel Martin Foundation in Kenya. Last year we put our board together and prepared all the paperwork. The board consists of Larry Martin, MarySue Martin, and Peninnah Nzioka, as officers. Board members are Edith Nyenze, Gideon Kiawa, Joshua Martin, and Russell Martin. It is necessary to have the Rachel Martin Foundation in Kenya to get the land donated put into our name. There are four locations now where land will be donated to build clinics and wells. Also, this gives us a broader footprint in fundraising on the humanitarian side. We are ready to get started.
The Rachel Project is our ministry through Helping Hands Unlimited. That has not changed. Our ministries still function here.
We will be going to Kenya November 3-21 to get things moving. We need to secure an office space, hire a part-time person to work in the office, and set the office up. We will be checking out an orphanage in west Kenya, checking on land ready to be donated for clinics and wells, putting together the logistics for a mission trip for youth in the summer, and doing ministry in Machakos and with the Maasai. We will be having lots of meetings for our future plans.
We need your financial help and prayers. We have a lot to get done. Please, consider financially donating and helping us bring fresh water and good health to the families in Kenya.
We have cleared our schedule, prayed for God’s directions. We need prayer warriors and funds to make it happen. So we are asking you if God has laid it on your heart to be part of this adventure to help us out financially to do His will. You can:

May God richly bless you today,
Larry and MarySue Martin
