If you have come to this page to help an individual with their funds for one of our trips, you have come to the right place. If you are ready to donate, please scroll to the bottom of this page. If you want to know more about our Trip Donation program, please read on.
Mission trips are an important part of what we do. One-on-one is the best way to build relationships, and it is a great way to share God’s love with others. It just takes people willing to go. Many have time and talents to share but not necessarily the funds to go. Some of you use do not have the time or the desire to go even though we feel this is worthy work, but one thing you may have is the financial ability to further this work by helping support someyouone else who can go.
Probably the reason you are on this page is that someone you know is going and you would like to help them out. You can give gifts towards their trip either by check or electronically. If by check, please make your check out to Helping Hands Unlimited. Do not put the person’s name on your check. Instead, please put a note in the envelope with your check that has the name of the person you would like to help fund. Then Drop it in the mail. Please send it to Helping Hands Unlimited, PO Box 111, Albany, IN 47320. All gifts are tax-deductible. Any extra funds raised beyond the goal will go towards the project or program they are working on. The other option Is to give online. All you need to do is keep reading.
There are several teams we are working with to help them raise their trip funds. Below you will see several trips listed. Please click on the trip you would like to sponsor. It will take you to the secure section of our site. On the next page, you can select the person or couple you would like to sponsor. It is self-explanatory from there. Thank you for considering helping someone to go and minister to those in need! Please check back often to see how they are doing at raising their goal.
According to IRS guidelines, tax-deductible gifts may not be restricted for the sole benefit of an individual. Although your gift will be counted towards the participant’s fundraising goal, Helping Hands Unlimited must retain sole control and discretion over the use of the funds once a tax-deductible receipt is issued. The tax-deductible gift is non-refundable, even if the participant through which the gift was made becomes unable or unwilling to participate in the project.
