What is Helping Hands Unlimited?
Helping Hands Unlimited (HHU) is a non-denominational, nonprofit Christian mission organization serving in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Kenya, and Zimbabwe. Our purpose is to glorify God in worldwide partnerships by ministering spiritually, physically, socially, and educationally to those in need in the name of Jesus Christ.

What is your mission statement?
Our desire is summed up in our tagline: “Sharing the Son with those we serve.” Everything we do is rooted in showing the love of Jesus through practical care and spiritual hope.

Programs & Ministry

What types of programs do you operate?
We work through several key areas of ministry:

  • Children’s Feeding Centers – providing nutritious meals and Bible teaching to children in need (currently serving over 500 children in Zimbabwe).

  • Orphanage Support – partnering with homes like Bethesda Home and Love Your Neighbor Home to provide care, education, and hope for orphans.

  • Christian Schools & Sponsorships – enabling children from poor communities to attend Christ-centered schools.

  • Special Needs Care – helping families with children who have medical or developmental challenges.

  • Pastor Training – equipping pastors and lay leaders with biblical training to strengthen the church.

  • Community Outreach – serving impoverished sugarcane villages, rural schools, and transitional housing for older youth.

Where do you currently serve?
Our ministry is active in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Kenya, and Zimbabwe through local partnerships with churches, schools, and community leaders.

Donations & Support

How are donations used?
We are committed to financial transparency. Every gift directly supports our programs—feeding children, supporting schools, caring for orphans, and expanding ministry outreach. Administrative costs are kept minimal, and HHU is accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Can I designate my gift?
Yes. Donors may choose to designate their gifts to specific programs (feeding centers, schools, orphanages, etc.) or give to our general fund, which allows us to direct resources where they are most urgently needed.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Helping Hands Unlimited is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Involvement

How can I get involved beyond giving financially?
