Compassionate Support for Orphanages in the Dominican Republic

Since its inception, Helping Hands Unlimited has been dedicated to serving orphanages in the Dominican Republic. As our organization grew, we recognized a profound need that could not be overlooked. Initially focused on supporting Christian schools in impoverished areas, we were introduced to several Christian orphanages seeking assistance. It quickly became clear that we had to provide orphanage support in the Dominican Republic to help these vulnerable children.

Understanding the Challenges

Many children in these orphanages have faced unimaginable challenges. Some have experienced abuse at the hands of parents struggling with addiction, while others have been abandoned due to financial hardships. Tragically, many have been forced into survival situations, resorting to theft for necessities, or worse, being pushed into street-level exploitation.

Additionally, some children have lost parents to war or diseases like HIV, ending up in the care of distant relatives who are unable to provide adequate support.
